“ Was craving something new and this place was recommended to me so I had to check it out! The beef and the chicken empanadas are fantastic! Super filling too. Dont forget the oil with herbs it makes it chefs kiss! The side of sweet potato fries could have been a meal on its own, its a big portion! When I got there it was a calm atmosphere with a few people and later in the night it filled up and got lively with a lot of people sharing and enjoying the food. Looks like they have outdoor seating in the summer too. Great place! ”
“ Beyond delicious. My husband couldnt stop talking about the steak. I had the burger and one of our friends had the chicken sandwich he did note that it had great flavor and crunch but it wasnt spicy. Smaller place, cozy feel. ”
“ The food was delicious and the service was great. Went for a late lunch. It took a few minutes but the food came out freshly prepared. The potatoes were delicious and the chicken was served right. The steak seemed a little overcooked but still tasty. The ham and cheese empanada made for a nice treat. And their espresso was amazing. ”
“ Stopped by on a rainy day to warm up. Welcoming atmosphere and staff. Hot coffee and iced chai was good quality. Starting off with a beef empanada is just enough to get the appetite going, delicious pastry. The choripan with fries are delicious and generous in portions. Grab dessert to go if you dont have room pistachio pie is different and tasty. Great spot for a group of 4 or a pair outing. Definitely a new spot Ill frequent. ”
“ We found this family restaurant on our way to downtown Chicago from ORD. Such a homy treasure hidden in a nice neighborhood. The steak omelet was spiced so beautifully, I decided I had to leave a review. Im a bit conflicted, because I so enjoyed the warm quiet atmosphere that Id hate to come back on a next trip into Chicago which I definitely will and find it crowded, but if that were to happen, I can only say it would be deserved. ”
“ Very cute little restaurant with delicious food. I got the Milanesa with steak and it was so good. The sandwich was large and I ended up taking half home. The vibe was very chill, and despite being a smaller space they didnt cram it full of tables. I really appreciate that it felt like each table had its own space. ”
“ Everyone that works there is so nice. The service was fast as much as you can expect with genuine dishes that take some work to prep, food was delicious, coffee was on point, desserts were even better we ordered a cinnamon roll that had a lemon icing that was everything overall a very pleasant dining experience. ”
“ Delicious empanadas and grilled meats. Wish they at least had some beers, but no alcohol is served here. They also have a cute little patio outside that looked perfect for summer. Parking was weird its in a neighborhood where everything requires a permit. But we went for dinner and didnt get a ticket. ”
